Got to thinking about this tounament and remember December in my neck of the woods not being very nice last year. Might of needed a portable augger to be able to wet a line. Hopefully, this year will not be as severe.

Attached is a photo of my Grandson's first striper. He caught it last November on Claytor Lake in VA on a u-rig. Fish was 29" and just under 10 lbs.
