Re: early Boxing Day trip

Nice going Jim, we still need to hookup out there sometime. My dad went Monday and Tuesday and managed 2 on Monday and I think 3 on Tuesday using small gizzards. They fished Grassy. That water is the smoothest I’ve ever seen out there.

Re: Lake Chesdin 10/25/15

About 45 minutes southwest of Richmond, actually closer than Buggs is for me. Used to be a great lake 15 years ago several citations caught. Stocking efforts slowed over the past few years though. Its like fishing a large river compared to Buggs island.

Re: New Hooks...

I used to use the L042's until hearing about the success with circles. Still use a octopus J hook on planers though. The fish we catch are on the smaller side so it definitely helped changing to circles on the down lines. Only issue is over time the L042's do rust. Nice catching.

No worries, we can always point our Soup friends in the right direction as far as the fishing goes. ;) Time to find my gmco map I bought about 4 years ago and never used. Hopin I can bring some cured lake chesdin gizz so I don't have to worry about bait. Probably use Friday as a scouting day get to...

Re: Striper Mafia Tournament Series

I like the Striper Mafia tournament and we are supporting it because of the CPR format which is how all striper tx's should be. This tube shit needs to go away for good. This is exactly why I wanted to support these guys, I think this would be awesome if it became the platform for future tournament...

Re: Striper Mafia Tournament Series

Thinking about making the trip down from Richmond for the November date only provided I can find cheap enough lodging. I figured why not make my first trip down be for a tournament. I wouldn't plan on doing much catching but look forward to the learning experience. Is there a limit on amount of boats?

Noise rejection stays all the way to the left and adjust sensitivity before taking off. I have tried u...

Re: 6/7/15

We actually havnt marked a school with the super 60 yet. It does however mark bait and help us narrow the search. There is a guide on Kerr that uses a Ray Jefferson flasher to locate them. A lot of water to cover on Kerr but this time of year most of the fish are stacking up near the dam.

The stripers are finally making a come back on Kerr lake after the copepods did a number on them. Although we don't...
