Re: 2180

Got the sanding finished. 50 grit sand paper on a palm sander. Friday afternoon got the primer and first coat on. One more coat and will be good to go. http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad19/tincan2009/Mobile%20Uploads/20160114_120711_zpsalxpb3wu.jpg http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad19/tincan20...

Thanks! I guarantee as soon as this boat is finished I will be fishing and hopefully some big beautiful stripers will grace my boat sooner then later.

Re: 2180

Every time I look at that boat I realize how much more room I'd have just in the front if it was flat like that. :hmm: The builder could not believe I wanted it squared like that. He kept saying "are you sure don't want to make it more sexy and bring it to a point". I kept saying I all ready have a...

Re: Striper Soup Outfitters

The water issue was not from the roof. However there was a small flat built up roof on the rear that was leaking. Patched once then patched it again and still leaked. So gave it a permanent fix. Had some of my guys stick build the trusses and tied them into the existing sloped roof line yesterday an...

Re: 2180

Got the word yesterday that the trailer was ready so rolled over to Ashville NC this AM and picked it up. Highly impressed with the quality. Got it back home and got the boat on later this afternoon. Got most of the interior sanded before it got dark. Little bit more in the morning then going to a f...

Brice Connell wrote:Now that's an awesome boat! Can't wait to see how you rig it. Do you plan to paint it or going to leave it a shiny shad color?
The interior will be coated in a non slip texture with the color being tan similar to my old boat. The outside will stay nice shiny aluminum.

Re: 2180

I'm curious where that water's going to run on the front deck. Might need drains in the front corners! The front lid has 2 large channels that run under neath it with 2 drain port that run out each side close to the front of the boat. The lid as a very narrow margin would should allow just water to...

Thanks everyone. I am very excited about it! It has so much room in it!

Ezell, it will have a Yamaha for sure but have not hammered down what size yet. It is rated up to a 250 but will mostly likely be a 175 or 200. Trying to work some magic on a deal.

Have not been around much since I have been absolutely covered up with stuff. I haven't even fished since November when I went with Shawn and Justin. Its kind of felt good to have my head spinning like a top but looking forward to slowing back down just a little. I haven't had anything post worthy b...

Major bummer. The best part of this competition is giving you a good reason to get out on the water when conditions suck  .
