Nice catching! I've done some crappie fishing this year on Lanier when the striper fishing was slow and only caught two all year and donated probably 15 road runners trying to shoot docks. There is a learning curve there too just like everything else. Everyone's posts make it look so easy...

I still watch Mack's videos on YouTube. He also wrote a book catching striped bass on Lanier. Looks like it was written with a typewriter. Read it twice its got alot of old school info in it that helped me out alot!

I pull two boards off my t-top w/ othe outside rod in the highest point and the inside rod in the holder on the support piece about 6" under it as long as the fish doesnt head 90* straight at the boat there is no dodging other rods. Im also in a 19' boat the t-top isnt that high you can easily reach...

Never got a quantity or what anyone wanted for the seafood I can still get it but its gonna be $$$. It would be nice if crawfish were still in season.

In relation to gizzards they would be in the small to medium class with the largest about the size of your hand. Most of the bites came on the smaller ones.
