Finally got another boat and this is a sweet ride with a big jet on it. 2004 weldbilt 1656 custom built with a .100 bottom and a fresh 1995 115 Evinrude 60 deg 2 stroke. Barry and I built/installed a custom center console for it. The console has 2 batteries for the trolling motor and a minn kota 3 bank 15 amp per back charger(345D). Took it out today for the first time and it ran great. Does around 27mph at 4200rmp with me and the lady. It runs 26mph at 4400rpm with the 50gal bait tank, me and the lady. Max speed with 2 people and no bait tank was around 38mph. I got a 70 gal bait tank to put in it when I get it back from Ron Vest. Barry is letting me use his bait tank for now. Here are a few pics.

Sure is. The biggest problem I have found with the outboard jets is they are under power for us striper guys. The weight of the gear and bait tank you have to have a big motor. Most boats this size only allow a 60 or 90hp which is a 45 or 65hp when you jet it. The 115 turned out 80hp jetted which is just right on that size boat. If I got a 19 footer it would need a 150hp I think to push that weight. I love it so far.
Some guy down the street from Barry . Not sure how much it was. I bought boat with that included in price but I was with barry when he picked it up. I also installed it too. haha. The guy was in winder, auburn area off of 29 and 316.
