2016 Dues Due

Post by Shawn McNew » December 16th, 2015, 12:13 am

We are using the same tiered system as last year, so make sure you pay the right amount to maintain uninterrupted membership. I will temporarily deactivate unpaid memberships sometime in Jan. :x You'll regain service at time of payment.

This dues system rewards members for contributing. If you don't post, you'll pay a little more for mooching. You have to EARN your reduced dues!

If you were on the old Soup, your old posts will be added to your new Soup posts.

Can-Do winners are exceptionally valuable and will get a free year's membership for excellence in Soup reporting.

Tiered Dues:
$20 - 0-50 posts
$15 - 51-100 posts
$12 - 100-200 posts
$10 - 200-500 posts
$5 - 500+ posts

Payment options:
Paypal: Send money to stripersoup@gmail.com. To prevent Paypal fees, click the Personal tab and select "other" before you send.
Mail Mail: Send check or cash to Striper Soup/4705 S Main St./Acworth, GA 30101
Pay in person: Come to the shop!
NO PHONE-IN CREDIT CARDS

If you didn't win a Can-Do or don't have an honorary membership (you know who you are if you do), please pitch in your dues if you want to stay active in 2016. It will make life MUCH EASIER on me if I don't have to deactivate you and then REACTIVATE you because you couldn't take 2 minutes to send the money in on time. So far we only have about 30 returning members....THANKS!!!

I just purged the membership down to 96 members. If you're still seeing more than just the announcements section you:
1) Have an honorary membership
2) Paid your 2016 Dues
3) Earned a monthly Can-Do win in 2015
4) Signed up after Dec 1, 2015 (but submit dues before your free 1 month membership ends if you want to stay a member)
5) paid dues in 2015

I'm giving you 2015 guys a few more weeks to get in your 2016 dues and then you're on my hit list.

Paypal changed the "Personal" tab. Now you need to select "Send money to friends and family" in order to bypass fees.

You know those bastards actually had the balls to send me a message on my Paypal account to tell me I was receiving a lot of personal money on my commercial account. Well that ISN'T EVEN POSSIBLE! If you turn your pp account commercial you can't take feeless money anymore. I made that mistake one time. I told them they were greedy bastards and to delete me if they wanted to since I pay them fees on all of my online store purchases. I also told them the payments WERE personal in nature and that they weren't the only game in town and I'd have no problem processing with someone else. That's been a couple weeks ago and no response from them and I still have an account. :ericpeace: PRICKS!
