If you HAVE to talk about something other than striper, I guess do it here.

12/21/2015 Not a Striper report but this LM bass is worthy.

I know, this is a Striper forum but lately, I've been taking my son LM bass fishing which means no live bait and casting my arms off. We've been catching LM bass at various lakes but today, he caught this 7.5 pounder on a crank bait. We threw swim baits for a couple of hours with no luck so we downsized. I'm enjoying sitting in the back and messing around with the electronics. We'll be on vacations for 2 weeks in Hawaii, no Stripers to catch there.

Nice fish, be safe in your travels.
I'd rather be fishing...even if I don't catch anything!

Moved to off species. Green fish don't count, even though big ones are sort of ok. :chef:

Deep and shallow slammers! Nice job fellas!

Maybe the usual southern winter pattern will set in by January this year???
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
