thanks guys....... appreciate Todd putting in the time to put us in the right spot at the time - I just had to catch the bait, set the hook and reel ;)

..... and I guess it goes without saying that this beauty was released so that one of us can catch it again one day in the 40s or 50s :D

That's one beautiful fish. :D

I first saw your new avatar, and knew where you had been. 8-)

Way to go Mike. Once you've gone "West", you'll never be the same again :!:
Our fish up this way are usually on the bottom of the length/weight chart. Those fishies are off the charts. :) :) :)

Congrats on the big fish. I'll warn you though it can be habit forming and expensive.

You know, I've had several folks now ask if (or tell me that) the fish above is a hybrid because of the broken stripe pattern. Now, if it is, it apparently is a new world record by 10 or more pounds. I'm telling folks those are just stretch marks from this fish's big belly

Mike / John - no question about it being habit forming - of course even the "little" ones we have at SML have that tendency - those TN ones just magnify it a few hundred times fold.

Bryan - glad you guys did well... Glad that front did not turn them off for you
