11 lb PB LMB

Post by Shawn McNew » November 18th, 2017, 12:25 am

Took my dad to a private lake that has turned into a trophy bass lake since I stocked it with shad over 3 years ago. We caught around 10 fish and throwing out 2 peckerhead 4 and 6 lbers, everything else was over 8 with 3 being over 10 and the big one I got being 11. If i'm going to catch bass, this is what I want to catch! They still didn't fight worth a crap and all came straight to the net with minimal fuss. I'd rather catch a 5 lb striper.

That is some bassy goodness there. It would be cool to have that as one of your local “fish from the bank” spots.

Appears they have put some management efforts into that lake! Impressive.
