trip to see

Post by Steve Gordon » April 26th, 2015, 7:23 pm

My mom lives on a private lake in East Cobb, so we went to visit today and I took 2 ultra light rod and reals. My daughter and I went fishing for about an hour in a canoe. Didn't care if we caught any thing or not. Since she turned 16 in March haven't seen a lot of her. Nice clear 66 degree water, clear as Gin other than the layer of pollen. We paddle out to the middle of about a 3 acre lake to get a little sun while were out and started casting. we wound up catching a couple.

That's awesome Steve!!! I'm glad you got to go out with your daughter, I think those moments get more precious as we get older. My son just turned 18 and I see a lot less of him too, he goes pond fishing with his buddies a lot so I guess that's a good thing, lol.
