144k Hits in 11.5 months

I thought some fellow computer geeks would get a kick out of this.
All of my fishing pics are stored under this domain (ussmail.net) and January has been my largest month for hits to date at 42k.

It's the beard. That and nobody else is landing them like you these days.
Your site name ussmail.net might have something to do with it too...hope your site is more profitable.

Hits doesn't tell you much. Visits are what you want. As in unique IP's per day. A plugin and code-heavy webpage is going to have LOTS of hits each time someone loads the page, including refreshes. Visits are what you're looking for. And 2,600+ ain't bad in a year! I haven't run stats in a long time, but my old seeinstripes site used to break 100,000 hits per month pretty regular. Forums are VERY hit heavy. I'd be curious to run the stats on stripersoup.com. Good info Arnie!

I agree that the unique visits is the real number and should be the only number considered. I figured a very active forum, such as the SOUP, would trump these numbers by at least a factor of 10. I was surprised only because I have no active web pages (yet) and have only been using the space as a pic server.
